This is a video I shot in Paris last year (2009) at Tolbiac University. At that time, the teachers went on strike against the so called Law about the Liberty and Responsibility of the Universities (LRU). At the general assembly the students were discussing the strike, whether they support it or not. After series of interventions by students and teachers the vast majority of the assembly voted for the strik by raising their hands. It' was an amazing scene of student democracy... and I was lucky to be part of it for a period of time.

I am republishing this video as the students in France NOW are on strike and joining the workers rebellion that is sweeping across the country against the Sarkozy retirement "reform"
